IVLU: Financials Probably Have A Little More To Run
Financials have performed very well already, particularly in Europe, but remain quite reasonably priced with NIMs rather resilient to rate cuts. In Japan, they are benefiting from greater investment and capital market activity. iShares Edge MSCI Intl Value Factor ETF has been a great way to avoid the major hit to portfolios from the significantly lower USD on a YTD basis.

IVLU: The Best Of All Worlds
This ETF offers global equity exposure excluding the US, providing diversification from US-dominated world indices. It trades at a substantial discount to global and even emerging markets, with a reasonable dividend yield. The ETF is well-diversified, investing in over 300 companies, mainly in Japan and Europe, and avoids concentration risk.

IVLU: A Little Too Much Japan
iShares Edge MSCI Intl Value Factor ETF offers exposure to international value stocks and has outperformed its closest competitor, iShares MSCI EAFE Value ETF. The IVLU ETF has a well-diversified portfolio with over 350 holdings and a low expense ratio of 0.3%. Japan makes up nearly 1/3rd of IVLU's country allocation, which could pose risks due to potential currency crisis and disruptions in the market.

IVLU: Ex-U.S. Value Stocks Could Be A Buy If Not FX Risks
At first glance, IVLU is a nice option for investors on the hunt for double-digit earnings yields. IVLU has had a solid performance recently, beating a few value ETFs I cover regarding one-month returns and outperforming IVV as well. Its robust Quant rating is telling. Nevertheless, FX factor is not to be ignored, especially its exposure to the yen as the currency is teetering around a record low as Japan's central bank remains pronouncedly dovish.

The Year's Top 3 International ETFs as of August 2023
ETFs are one of the best ways to invest in the stock market. Instead of trying to find the best stocks out there that may or may need to improve over time, ETFs offer a much less stressful option allowing investors to have money in many different companies simultaneously.

3 Value-Based ETFs to Consider
The art of value investing is often underappreciated. Pioneered by Benjamin Graham and evolved by Warren Buffett (Trades, Portfolio), value investing seeks companies with promising earnings and low-risk premiums in an attempt to unlock hidden value.
