JPUS: An ETF With Healthy Returns But Nothing Particularly Impressive
JPUS is based on an index that experiments with the value, momentum, and quality factor trifecta to bolster risk-adjusted returns. Unfortunately, in the past, it was mostly unsuccessful despite having a few robust periods. For example, in terms of risk-adjusted returns, it underperformed both the S&P 500 and the Russell 1000 ETF. There is also something to dislike about its maximum drawdowns.
